Responsibilities

  • Provide high-touch desktop and end-user support to investment professionals, business users, and executives across global offices.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex endpoint, application, mobility, and virtual desktop issues.
  • Support and maintain Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, and related workplace technologies.
  • Manage and troubleshoot physical and virtual desktop environments, including Citrix Cloud and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  • Support enterprise collaboration and communications platforms, including Cisco, Webex, Zoom, Neat, and Poly solutions.
  • Provide support for mobile devices through Microsoft Intune and enterprise device management platforms.
  • Support business-critical financial applications, including Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg Anywhere.
  • Diagnose and resolve user-facing connectivity issues, including VPN, DNS, DHCP, and remote access services.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through Jira, ensuring timely resolution and excellent user experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, documentation, root cause analysis, and collaboration with Infrastructure, Security, and Application Support teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Desktop Support, End User Computing, or Workplace Technology experience within a buy-side hedge fund, asset management firm, investment management company, or financial services environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory.
  • Experience supporting Citrix Cloud, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and enterprise endpoint management platforms such as Intune.
  • Experience supporting Bloomberg Terminal, Bloomberg Anywhere, or other market data platforms.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex desktop, application, and infrastructure-related issues independently.
  • Experience providing white-glove support to portfolio managers, traders, and senior executives.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure investment management environment.
